Last Day

It was the last day and I headed to the Cathedral on Bo Aung Gyaw street to meet up with an old friend. This neighbourhood is really lively with stalls selling all sorts of food

The folks here like to apply a form of sun block on their faces
Saint Mary's Cathedral

My old friend ,Brother Anselm lives within the church compound. He is a member of the De La Salle Christian Brothers and had been a teacher in Singapore before he retired. Mohamed wanted to have this picture taken as it reminded him of his old house

View of Yangon from our taxi as we headed to the airport

As we flew past the city limits it becomes apparent that Myanmar is an agricultural nation
