It was definitely no a good time to go on a holiday with Tessie having suffered a slipped dics. But the trip was plannned 6 months ago. IOt was almost a free trip. Jo paid US$250 or about Sing$300 for a 3 nights package at the Marriott Vacation Club in Mai Khao Beach, Phuket.We were to sity in to a 90 minute presentation where there will try to sell the vacation timeshare. In return they will give us 8000 Thai Bhat worth of vouchers for the trouble.That's about Sing$400 !!

The rooms were spacious as ther were designed with families in mind
We had Thai food for lunch
After lunch, we wandered off to the nearby mall to have a look. We were approached by a sales person who asked if we wanted to attend a talk on the ananthara vacation club. We would be reimbursed with 4000 Bhat worth of vouchers.We agreed and were taken around the resort.The pool villa was fantastic but it would cost at least US$700 a night here
By the time we finished it was raining really heavily.We spent the rest of the day in our room
