Off to Macau, landed in Hong kong

Hong Kong International Airport is deserted after 2 am. We were told that the restaurant would not open until 7 am. There was nothing we could do but try to grab some sleep
The ground handlers took down our names and told us they would check with Tiger Airways about going to Macau by sea at 10am
A bus finally came to pick us up and send us to the arrival hall after it became obvious that the fog would not lift
Managed ro let the Captain allow me to take a photo of the cokpit

Furious passengers demanded for arrangements to bring us to the terminal after waiting for 2 hours in the plane
Took this photo when I came out for a breadth of freah air at the door. The pilot told us that they would try to take off in two hours
Towards the end of our flight an announcement came to inform us that the plane would be diverted to Hong Kong due to foggy conditions at Macau airport. We were not the only planes diverted to Hong Kong

In recent years Macau has changed tremendously. The new strip of land joining Taipa and Coloane is known as the Cotai Strip (with the first two letters of each name)New casinos like the Venetian Macau and the City of Dreams have sprung up.

When I heard that my friend Bryan was going to visit his office in Guanzhou, I decided to tag along. This trip was going to be a real adventure as we were flying into Macau and then take a bus into Zhu Hai or the Pearl River Delta to spend a night there. We would have to take another bus into Guanzhou the following day
